SST TOPIC

 Racism is one of the most common things that happened in this decade. Racism has been happening because of a chain of a never ending battle against the black and the white.  For example George Floyd. About a week ago the cop who murdered George Floydd has been charged for murder and senteced for life. I think it is a good thing because no cop should have the rights to murder a black man for no reason possible. 

9K Science Hearts and Lungs

The topic we studied with was heart and lungs and the other types of bloods and organs in you body. I learnt about the functions of the blood types and the functions of the heart. The fun part was when we were allowed to play with a sheep heart and the lungs. I enjoyed learning about them but the smell was horrible. We also got to cut it open and feel all the other parts of the heart to. Next year in science I'm looking forward to doing experiments and all that sort of stuff with my friends.

This photo was taken when my teacher was showing what to do with the heart and what some of the parts are used for. Straight after that we went off in groups and he gave us a heart to try do it ourselves.

Comparing cultures

In SST I have been learning about the difference between Germany and New Zealand.

We had to choose 4 things to research about. The 4 things i choose was Food, Arts n Crafts, Clothing and buildings.

Kia ora my name is Daniel and I stay in a small town called Kawakawa. I am a Maori and samoan. I go to this school called Bay Of Islands College. My hobbies are gaming, sport and etc. I like playing sports like basketball, rugby, badminton and many more.
